Chemopreventive Agent Development Research Group

This group supports scientific and administrative oversight for preclinical chemoprevention agent development up to early phase I chemopreventive agent research using physiological endpoints in healthy volunteers. Research focuses on identifying and developing agents with the potential to block, reverse, or delay early stages of cancer, using a battery of preclinical pharmacology, toxicology, and efficacy tests, and conducting phase 1 pharmacokinetic and safety studies.
