H.J. Res. 72—Making Further Continuing Appropriations for the Fiscal Year 2006, and for Other Purposes

On November 16, 2005, the House Committee on Appropriations filed H.J. Res. 72, the second Continuing Resolution (CR) for FY 2006, which would extend funding for those agencies without enacted FY2006 appropriations.

COMMITTEE/SUBCOMMITTEE ACTION

November 18, 2005 – The first CR expires at midnight, and this measure would be a simple extension of funding at the fiscal year 2005 rate through December 17.

PRESIDENTIAL ACTION

November 19, 2005 - The President signed H.J. Res. 72 into law as P.L. 109-105.
