H. Con. Res. 23—Urging Support for Increased Funding for Juvenile Diabetes (Type 1) Research

On January 25, 2005, Representative Gene Green (D-TX) introduced H. Con. Res. 23, urging support for increased funding for juvenile diabetes (Type 1) research. The resolution requests Congress to increase Federal funding for diabetes research in accordance with the recommendations of the Diabetes Research Working Group so that a cure for juvenile diabetes can be found. H. Con. Res. 23 was referred to the House Committee on Energy and Commerce.
