No matter what the job is, ergonomics plays an important role in preventing injury and illness.

What is ergonomics?

Ergonomics is simply "the job task to the person performing the job."

Many times this involves manipulating an individual’s work area so that it fits them better, e.g., they can work in neutral postures and maintain their curves. Check out the specific sub-heading that describes your work area and find out how you can adjust your work area to better fit you.
