H. R. 3162 —The Children’s Health and Medicare Protection Act of 2007

On July 24, 2007, Representative John Dingell (D-MI) introduced H.R. 3162, the Children’s Health and Medicare Protection Act of 2007, a bill to amend titles XVIII, XIX, and XXI of the Social Security Act to extend and improve the children’s health insurance program, to improve beneficiary protections under the Medicare, Medicaid, and the CHIP program, and for other purposes. H.R. 3162 was referred to the House Committee on Energy and Commerce.

July 26, 2007 - The House Committee on Energy and Commerce (Representative John Dingell [D-MI], Chairman) reported out H.R. 3162 by a vote of 24-17.
