How can I obtain Library privileges?

Full library privileges are extended to primary clients. These privileges include borrowing library materials, database searching, document delivery/interlibrary loan, photocopying, and desktop access to databases. In order to borrow materials, primary clients need to obtain a library barcode number by emailing the Library at hsrlrefdesk@nih.gov or visiting the Library in person with a valid HHS ID.

Limited library privileges are extended to all others. These include in-house use of library materials, photocopying, and in-house access to databases.
