On August 1, 2007, Senator Jeff Sessions (R-AL) introduced S. Res. 288, a Resolution Designating September 2007 as National Prostate Cancer Awareness Month. S. Res. 288 referred to the Senate Committee on the Judiciary. The House companion measure, H. Res. 672, was introduced by Representative Doris Matsui (D-CA), on September 24, 2007.
