The course will cover Perl basics and best practices. Beginner's will get a bearing for how to write effective Perl programs and a list of resources available to them as they start out. More advanced Perl Programmers will gain some insight into best practices and answers to why those practices exist. Perl examples will focus on security, databases, and web programming.
