H.R. 5545—The Davis-Bacon Act

On June 7, 2006, Representative Gene Green (R-TX) introduced H.R. 5545 to ensure that projects funded through the National Institutes of Health comply with wage rate requirements commonly referred to as the "Davis-Bacon Act." The bill was referred to the House Committees on Energy and Commerce and on Education and the Workforce.
