H.R. 4927—The Conquer Childhood Cancer Act of 2006

On March 9, 2006, Representative Deborah Pryce (R-OH) introduced H.R. 4927, the Conquer Childhood Cancer Act of 2006. The legislation would amend Title IV of the Public Health Service Act to establish special programs of research excellence, a pediatric cancer fellowship program, a national childhood cancer registry, and a public awareness campaign. The bill would authorize $20 million for each of the Fiscal Years 2007 through 2011. H.R. 4927 was referred to the House Committee on Energy and Commerce.
