S. 415—Consumer Involvement in Breast Cancer Research Act

On February 14, 2003, Senator Olympia Snowe (R-ME) introduced S. 415, the Consumer Involvement in Breast Cancer Research Act. The bill would amend Section 417(c) of the Public Health Service Act to require the Director of NCI to increase the involvement of advocates in decisionmaking for breast cancer research. The bill was referred to the Senate Committee on Health, Education, Labor and Pensions.
