S. 1504—Project BioShield Act of 2003

On July 31, 2003, Senator Judd Gregg (R-NH) introduced S. 1504, the Project BioShield Act of 2003. This measure replaces S. 15, which was introduced by the Senator on March 11. Provisions of S. 1504 regarding expedited peer review, procurement, and appointment of expert personnel related to biodefense research remain largely the same as those in S. 15. S. 1504 was not referred to a committee but was placed on the Senate calendar.
