H.R. 5155—Free Market Drug Act

On September 28, 2004, Representative Dennis Kucinich (D-OH) introduced H.R. 5155, the Free Market Drug Act. The bill would establish the National Institute for Biomedical Research and Development, which would provide for the development of drugs, biological products, and devices at reasonable prices. The bill was referred to the House Committee on Energy and Commerce.
