H.R. 370—Women's Autoimmune Diseases Research and Prevention Act

On January 27, 2003, Representative Stephen F. Lynch (D-MA) introduced H.R. 370, the Women's Autoimmune Diseases Research and Prevention Act. The bill would 1) expand, intensify, and coordinate activities with respect to research on autoimmune diseases in women and 2) amend the current NIH statute on Autoimmune Diseases to include additional requirements for the plan for which the Coordinating Committee is responsible. The bill was referred to the House Energy and Commerce Subcommittee on Health.
