Overview
The goal of the meeting is to discuss and critically evaluate the evidence for the impact of diet and bioactive food components on epigenetic processes (including DNA methylation, histone modifications, chromatin remodeling factors, and noncoding regulatory RNA), implications for cancer prevention, as well as next steps for advancing diet, epigenetic events, and cancer prevention research.
