Overview
The Tenth EDRN Steering Committee will be held on March 21 -23, 2005 at the Bethesda North Marriott Hotel & Conference Center. This is the first Steering Committee Meeting after a successful competitive renewal of the Early Detection Research Network. We have funded outstanding investigators and research projects, which we believe will provide the Network with a solid and integrated scientific foundation, in both basic and clinical research. We are confident that this combination will lead to the discovery and validation of new biomarkers as we collaborate with industry, academic centers and other federal agencies. At this meeting we are hosting two very new sessions, Proteomic Interest Group and Genomic Interest Group. We have posted these agendas for your review. These interest group meetings are designed as informal gatherings of individuals sharing common goals and interests in a particular technology.
