S. 2590—Federal Funding Accountability and Transparency Act

On April 6, 2006, Senator Tom Coburn (R-OK) introduced the Federal Funding Accountability and Transparency Act of 2006. S. 2590 would require full disclosure of all entities and organizations receiving federal funds. The bill was referred to the Senate Committee on Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs.

FLOOR ACTION

September 6, 2006 – The Senate passed S. 2590 with an amendment by Unanimous Consent.

September 14, 2006 - The House passed S. 2590 by voice vote.

PRESIDENTIAL ACTION

September 26, 2006 - The President signed S. 2590 as P.L. 109-282.
