S. 2412—The 9/11 Commission Recommendation Implementation Act of 2006

On March 14, 2006, Senator Joseph Biden (D-DE) introduced S. 2412, the 9/11 Commission Recommendation Implementation Act of 2006. S. 2412 includes a provision that would require the Secretary of Transportation to delegate the authority for the administration of the Railway Hazmat Training Program to the Director of the National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences. S. 2412 was referred to the Senate Committee on Commerce, Science and Transportation.
