S. 898—The Patient Navigator Outreach and Chronic Disease Prevention Act of 2005

On April 25, 2005, Senator Kay Hutchison (R-TX) introduced S. 898, the Patient Navigator Outreach and Chronic Disease Prevention Act of 2005. The bill to amend the Public Health Service Act to authorize a demonstration grant program to provide patient navigator services to reduce barriers and improve health care outcomes, and for other purposes. S. 898 was referred to the Senate Committee on Health, Education, Labor, and Pensions (HELP).

May 25, 2005 - The Senate Committee on Health, Education, Labor, and Pensions (HELP) ordered reported S. 898.
