S. 756—The Research, Education, Awareness, Communication, Health Care (REACH) Amendments of 2005

On April 11, 2005, Senator Robert Bennett (R-UT) introduced S. 756, the Research, Education, Awareness, Communication, Health Care (REACH) Amendments of 2005. The bill would enhance public and health professional awareness and understanding of lupus. It would also strengthen the Nation's research efforts to identify the causes and find a cure for the disease. The bill was referred to the Senate Committee on Health, Education, Labor, and Pensions (HELP).
