Affymetrix® GeneChip® Genotyping Software


Description:
	This is a lecture course for current users of Affymetrix® GeneChip® Genotyping Assays and Software. The course will focus on workflow and analysis methods available in the Affymetrix® GeneChip® Software suite of tools. The lecture will focus on use of the software with the Affymetrix® Genome-Wide Human SNP Array 5.0 and 6.0 platforms. Discussion of Data Tracking capabilities, Quality assessment methodology, and SNP calling algorithms will be included in the lecture as well as demonstration of Affymetrix® Genotyping Console and Affymetrix® Command Console software applications.

Topics to be covered include:

Workflows for use with processing the Affymetrix® Genome-Wide Human SNP 5.0 and 6.0 arrays

Sample Tracking Utilities in Affymetrix® GeneChip® Command Console Software

Summarize exons and analyze the gene-level data

Quality Control assessment of Affymetrix® SNP 5.0 and 6.0 arrays

General Overview of algorithms used in SNP calling for Affymetrix® Genome-Wide Human SNP 5.0 and 6.0 arrays
