Dear fellows, We have the pleasure of having Scott Morgan talk to us about improving presentation skills on Tuesday May 13th at 3:30 pm in Building 37, 4th floor conference room (Bethesda campus).
Scott Morgan has been teaching science communication for over 12 years. His clients include the NIH, Merck, NASA, City of Hope Cancer Center, and several universities. He co-authored a book "Speaking about Science" published by Cambridge University Press in 2006. At NIH, Mr. Morgan has trained thousands of postdoctoral fellows through the Office of Intramural Training and Education and through specific institutes including NCI. In addition, he provides media training to several research think tanks in the Washington, DC area- the Center for Strategic and International Studies, the World Resources Institute, the U.S. Institute of Peace, and the Center for a New American Security.
If you missed his presentation at the Postdoc Retreat, be sure not to miss him this time!
Hope to see you there! CCR-FYI steering committee
