The Summer Students Are Coming — Are You Ready?

Join the OITE to brush up your mentoring skills as the summer students descend upon the labs.  We will discuss creating doable projects, setting summer goals, working with a novice, and giving effective feedback as a mentor.

These skills are essential to ensure that the summer programs (or any mentoring project) go smoothly, and, more importantly, those teaching/mentoring items that we add on our own CVs actually have meaning.

Bethesda: May 8 (Thursday), 9:00 to 10:30 a.m., First floor conference room, Building 50.
Frederick: May 12 (Monday), 10:00 to 11:30 a.m., Auditorium, Building 549.
Baltimore: May 20 (Tuesday), 10:00 to 11:30 a.m., Room 3C227, BRC.
