Announcing the GSC Pathways career development seminar on Tuesday, Feb 5th from 12:00 to 1:30pm. The theme will be Careers in Clinical Research for PhDs. Our guest speakers will be Dr. Irwin Arias, founder of the Demystifying Medicine lecture series, Dr. Theo Heller, who works with liver disease in both clinical and basic science laboratory settings, and Dr. Jeffrey Kopp, who has done work with translation of basic mechanisms into novel clinical therapies for kidney disease. 

Graduate students are invited to come meet the speakers and will have the opportunity to discuss career possibilities informally. The seminar will be held in the graduate student lounge in building 10 room 6S235. Refreshments will be provided; please RSVP by Wednesday, Jan 30th so that we can plan appropriately for food.
