Task Force Welcomes New Member
Thomas Wadden, Ph.D., professor of psychology and director of the Weight and Eating Disorders Program, University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine, is a new member of the National Task Force on Prevention and Treatment of Obesity. Task Force Chairman Jay Hoofnagle, M.D., welcomed Dr. Wadden at the May 29, 1998, Task Force meeting. Dr. Wadden replaces Kelly Brownell, Ph.D., professor of psychology, epidemiology, and public health, and director of the Yale Center for Eating and Weight Disorders, Yale University.
