H.J. Res. 79—Continuing Appropriations for Fiscal Year 2004

On November 22, 2003, the President signed into law H.J. Res 79 as P.L. 108-135, a joint resolution making continuing appropriations for Fiscal Year (FY) 2004, through midnight January 31, 2004. This stopgap spending bill, known as a continuing resolution (CR), is the fourth CR for FY 2004. H.J. Res. 79 was introduced by Representative Bill Young, Chairman, House Committee on Appropriations, on November 21 and passed the House and Senate on the same day.
