Research Initiatives

The U.S. National Cancer Institute (NCI) recognizes that the communication revolution sweeping the globe will change the face of cancer prevention, treatment, and long-term care as we know it. To capitalize on this incredible opportunity, the Health Communications Research Branch (HCIRB) has dedicated significant resources to the development of a seamless health communication and informatics infrastructure accessible to all. Below you will find HCIRB's current cancer communication initiatives- all working as one to better the translation, dissemination and accessibility of cancer research.
