Sources/Uses An Acaricide used against many organophosphate and carbamate resistant pests. It acts as an uncoupling agent and monoamine oxidase inhibitor; [ChemIDplus]
Comments Several workers developed hematuria secondary to hemorrhagic cystitis after exposure to chlordimeform. The syndrome resolved within 2 to 8 weeks following termination of the exposure. A case of methemoglobinemia induced by chlordimeform was reported. [EPA Pesticides, p. 77-78]
Restricted Registration voluntarily withdrawn in 1989.
