H. Res. 262—Pancreatic Cancer Awareness Month

On October 8, 2003, the House passed by voice vote H. Res. 262, a resolution supporting the goals and ideals of Pancreatic Cancer Awareness Month. One of the purposes of the measure would be to educate communities across the United States about pancreatic cancer and the need for research funding, early detection methods, effective treatments, and prevention programs. H. Res. 262 was introduced on June 9 by Representative Todd Platts (R-PA).
