The Office of Acquisitions (OA) participates in the planning, review, award and management of all National Cancer Institute (NCI) contracts and simplified acquisitions. In addition, OA acts as a service center for contract actions and purchasing required by the National Center for Complementary and Alternative Medicine (NCCAM). The office is divided into the following branchs: OA StructureOffice of the DirectorThe Office of the Director is responsible for the management of the Office of Acquisitions. Epidemiology, Therapeutics and Sciences BranchThe Epidemiology, Therapeutics and Sciences Branch awards and administers contracts on behalf of the Division of Cancer Epidemiology and Genetics and the Office of the Director. Prevention, Control and Population Sciences BranchThe Prevention, Control and Population Sciences Branch awards and administers contracts on behalf of the Division of Cancer Prevention and the Division of Cancer Control and Population Sciences. Purchasing and Support Acquisition BranchThe Office of the Chief also is responsible for Purchasing and Support Acquisition Branch. Treatment and Support BranchThe Treatment and Support Branch awards and administers contracts on behalf of the the Division of Cancer Treatment, and Centers, Division of Cancer Biology, and the Center for Cancer Research. |
