Description of Methods & Software for Population-Based Cancer Statistics

The graphic is a flowchart showing statistical methods and associated software developed by the Statistical Research and Applications Branch. The diagram is organized by statistic type. Incidence, mortality, survival, and prevalence statistics all have some statistical methods implemented in SEER*Stat software. Some methods involving complex modeling are developed in separate applications that can be used with SEER*Stat.
