Walk-in Advising

Individuals planning to travel overseas who require a travel validation signature, or who have general questions can visit DIS without an appointment Monday through Thursday between 1:30 PM and 3:30 PM. This time is open to NIH-sponsored foreign scientists only, as well as institute staff. Individuals will be seen on a first-come, first-serve basis, until 3:30 PM.

Please note that this time is not available for case-specific questions; if a specific case or request has been submitted to DIS, please wait to be contacted by an Immigration Specialist. For all other case-specific questions, please schedule an appointment to see an Immigration Specialist.
