The Criminal Justice Drug Abuse Treatment Studies (CJ-DATS) (Website) were established in 2002 under a cooperative agreement and involve the NIDA Network Coordinators, a Coordinating Center, and nine Research Centers.

Mission

  • To improve outcomes for offenders with substance use disorders by improving the integration of drug abuse treatment with public safety and public health systems.
