Funding Opportunities
The Division of Cancer Control and Population Sciences funds a large portfolio of grants and contracts. The portfolio currently includes over 900 grants valued at almost $400 million. The breadth of research supported by DCCPS includes surveillance, epidemiology, health services, behavioral science and cancer survivorship. The Division also plays a central role within the federal government as a source of expertise and evidence on issues such as quality of cancer care, the economic burden of cancer, geographic information systems, statistical methods, communication science, tobacco control, and the translation of research into practice.
This Web page provides information on current funding opportunities, as well as an archive of funding announcements that have closed. It also provides information on how to apply for funding opportunities and NIH resources for applicants.
To learn more about the entire portfolio of research funded by DCCPS, please go to the Cancer Control Research section of the Web site at http://cancercontrol.cancer.gov/current_research.html.
