The Lexical Systems Group improves, maintains, and develops the SPECIALIST Lexicon and SPECIALIST NLP Tools. The Lexical Systems Group also conducts research comparing word-based and concept-based retrieval algorithms using the SPECIALIST Lexicon and SPECIALIST NLP Tools text processing algorithms.
