To print either of the print-ready files, you must exit to DOS and change directory to where the downloaded file is located. Then type "copy filename lptx /b" where "filename" is the name of the file you have downloaded, and "x" is the number of the printer port of your HP or PostScript printer. For example, copy ps690.bin lpt1 /b would print the file "ps690.bin" on printer port "lpt1." This copy command must be typed without the quotation marks.
If you have an Adobe Acrobat Reader or want to use the free Adobe Acrobat Reader, select the PDF file. If you have installed Adobe Acrobat software and have established the appropriate association between the reader software (acroread.exe) and the file extension [.pdf], the ps690.pdf file you download should be automatically displayed when you download it. Use the Acrobat Reader to examine and print the PDF file. Or, if you have not established the appropriate association but have installed the Acrobat Reader, you can download the PDF file to the Acrobat directory to read and print it through the Acrobat Reader.
If you do not have an Adobe Acrobat Reader, you may obtain a free copy from Adobe's World Wide Web.
Notes: Print-ready files cannot be viewed; they are already translated to printer control language. PostScript files cannot (in any useful way) be printed on a non-PostScript printer. Adobe Acrobat files cannot be viewed or printed without having the free Adobe Acrobat Reader installed on your PC.
