#245SAS Series: S-PART: Science Portfolio Analysis and Reporting Tool

Description:
SAS often builds prototypes and production systems to assist in core mission activities as part of the HHS/SAS Enterprise License Agreement. In this demonstration, we will be showing a prototype initially called S-PART.

This system has been designed to dynamically query PubMed and then perform a "cluster analysis" on the results. These clusters are then run though a forecasting model to show the trending of a specific research area over time. The aim of this system is to provide decision makers with a more finite way to explore research areas.

This is NOT an introduction or training course on SAS Base, Enterprise Guide or related technologies. Please refer to Statistics for Researchersfor a list of SAS 101 sessions available this term.
