  • NIGMS Human Genetic Cell Repository:
    Contains nearly 10,000 cell lines and corresponding DNA from individuals with inherited diseases, apparently healthy individuals, and individuals of diverse geographic origins.
  • NINDS Human Genetics Resource Center:
    Banks cells and DNA from individuals with Parkinson's disease, stroke, epilepsy and motor neuron disease. Is expanding to include Tourette's syndrome.
  • NIA Aging Cell Repository:
    Includes cell lines and DNA from individuals with premature aging syndromes, and individuals with a diagnosis or risk of familial Alzheimer's disease.
 
  • Stores clinical data, cell lines and DNA from affected and unaffected individuals in families with schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, and Alzheimer's disease.

Stem Cells and Cell Culture

 
  • Lists sources of the human embryonic stem cell lines that are eligible for federal funding.
 
  • Established by NCRR to provide human and rodent stem cells isolated from adult bone marrow.
