Transportation Transportation NEMS Program

The Division of Travel and Transportation Services offers a variety of commuting options in an effort to help ease traffic congestion, decrease pollution and fossil fuel use, and reduce the stress associated with the daily trip to and from work. These options include the Transhare Program, Ridefinders Network, bicycle amenities, and campus shuttles. Through these efforts, NIH has been able to reduce single occupancy vehicles by more than 30% over 10 years. Approximately 55% of NIH employees currently use a mode of transportation other than a single occupancy vehicle.
