"Move for Health" is not a specific program, but a statement for individuals to take actions to improve their health. Information on our web site can be helpful in providing background and other suggestions for a more healthful lifestyle. The materials recommended below support the goals of The Surgeon General's Call to Action To Prevent and Decrease Overweight and Obesity 2001, and Healthy People 2010 Focus Areas 19 (Nutrition and Overweight) and 22 (Physical Activity and Fitness).
