The broad arch and the gallery's groined ceiling can be seen from the Librarian's desk. The circular conference table is original to the Jefferson Building as are the Chippendale-style chairs surrounding the table. Built-in oak bookcases with glass doors flank the central door from the Librarian's office to the secretary's office.
