WASHINGTON, D.C. – U.S. Representative Marion Berry (D-AR, 1st) will be in Marion, Arkansas on Thursday, August 10, 2006 to participate in an opening ceremony for the Vietnam Veterans Memorial Moving Wall. The Congressman will join local veterans and members of the community to hang a wreath in tribute to all the men and women who lost their lives in the Vietnam War conflict. The Moving Wall is a half-size replica of the Washington, DC Vietnam Veterans Memorial and has been touring the country for almost twenty years.
