This site provides links to relevant political information available on the Web. Sections include websites with political headlines updated hourly, state initiatives and referenda, college and university political science departments, online political magazines, political humor, and political think tanks.

Project Vote Smart
This comprehensive web site gives factual information on candidates and issues. More than 13,000 candidates for public office from the President of the U.S. down to state legislators are included. Five general areas are covered for each candidate: background, issue positions, voting records, campaign finances, and performance evaluations made by more than 100 liberal to conservative special interest groups.

SpeakOut.com
This political web site is full of political information and interactive activities. Sections include links to issue-oriented activist groups and political parties, information about elections, and interactive tools for online activism. Advertiser-supported, with some pop-ups.
