NEW YORK, N.Y. -- Disaster Assistance Service Centers, where people in Queens and Brooklyn who suffered losses from storms August 8th meet face-to-face with Federal, State, and City experts, are open 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. weekdays (closed weekends).

Locations of the Disaster Assistance Service Centers are 137-77 Northern Blvd., Flushing, Queens; 552 59th St., Bay Ridge, Brooklyn; and 240 Division Ave., Williamsburg, Brooklyn. 

To register, go online at www.fema.gov or call the toll-free registration line: 1-800-621-FEMA (3362). Speech or hearing impaired individuals should call (TTY) 1-800-462-7585.  Telephone lines are open from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m., seven days a week.
