U.S. Women’s National Team head coach Pia Sundhage has called in 25 players for a 17-day training camp that will kick off the team’s 2009 activity. The U.S. team will convene at U.S. Soccer’s National Training Center at The Home Depot Center in Carson, Calif., from Jan. 20-Feb. 4 in preparation for the annual Algarve Cup that will be held from March 4-11 in southern Portugal.
