Digest of Education Statistics
Provides access to statistics on numerous broad topics on primary, secondary and higher education in the United States, as well as comparisons with international education systems. Statistics may be viewed in HTML or downloaded in various formats (Excel, Lotus, PDF), and are compiled from many sources.

National Center for Education Statistics
Includes access to the full text of educational statistics, and an alphabetical subject index. The pull-down menu for "Popular NCES Sites" includes directories of U.S. public and private schools, conference and training information, and such documents as "The Nation's Report Card." Other tabs on the site allow access to the electronic catalog as well as to quick statistical facts.

The International Bureau of Education, a section of UNESCO, profiles educational conditions in over 100 countries.
