Media Advisory: Computer Company Executive Lectures on Entrepreneurship at Library of Congress

WHAT: Second of five lectures on "The American Entrepreneur: Models for the Future" sponsored by the Library of Congress Business Research Project.

WHEN: Wednesday, October 12, at 7 p.m.

WHERE: Library of Congress, Mumford Room, sixth floor of the Madison Building, 101 Independence Avenue S.E.

WHO: Bruce Milliken, founder, chief executive officer, and chairman of Random Access Inc., telling about his successful career as a young entrepreneur.

Bruce Milliken founded Random Access Inc. in 1985. The Denver-based company, which grossed $114 million in sales in 1993, resells microcomputer systems to large companies, installs and services the systems, and provides training.

The Library's Business Research Project was established in 1993 with a gift from the Edward Lowe Foundation of Cassopolis, Mich., to stimulate entrepreneurship, productivity, and innovation, with an emphasis on meeting the information needs of small businesses.
