Media Advisory: Harpsicordist Jennifer Paul Replaces Davitt Moroney in May 27 Concert

WHO: Jennifer S. Paul, 1983 winner of the Erwin Bodky International Competition, makes her Library of Congress concert debut in place of the previously announced Davitt Moroney. A graduate of the New England Conservatory of Music, Ms. Paul studied with John Gibbons in Boston and Ton Koopman in Amsterdam. She has performed extensively in the United States, Asia, and Europe.

WHAT: Free, public, Library of Congress concert titled "A Declaration of Music: The Harpsichord Music Collected by Thomas Jefferson." Open to the public; no tickets required.

WHEN: Friday, May 27. Concert begins at 8 p.m.; doors to auditorium open at 7:30 p.m.

WHERE: National Academy of Sciences auditorium, 21st and C streets NW.

PROGRAM: Works by Pescetti, J.C. Bach, Pergolesi, James Hewitt and others.
