Artistic Performance and Panel Discussion

The Library of Congress will showcase its National Visionary Leadership Project (NVLP) Collection of African American Oral Histories with a panel discussion featuring distinguished visionaries Arthur Mitchell and Carmen De Lavallade. NVLP co-founder, Renee Poussaint, an award winning veteran journalist, will serve as the panel moderator. A highlight of this signature event will include a performance by students from the Dance Theatre of Harlem and snippets from the Library's Alvin Ailey Dance Theatre Collection.
