簡介
久坐行為和身體活動並非互斥行為。既愛久坐又高度好動的青少年發生超重的相對風險尚不清楚。更好地瞭解久坐行為、身體活動和體質指數 (BMI) 之間的關係,將為制定預防或減少超重的干預措施提供參考。

方法
我們運用「學校健康行動、規劃和評估系統」(School Health Action, Planning and Evaluation System,簡稱 SHAPES) 的身體活動模塊,收集了加拿大安大略省 76 所中學 9 到 12 年級 25060 名學生的資料。我們進行了性別特異性邏輯回歸分析,考察 BMI、體重感受、社會影響、團隊體育參與和吸煙行為如何與以下因素相關:1) 多動多坐, 2) 少動少坐,以及 3) 少動多坐。

結果
少動多坐的男生比多動少坐的男生更有可能超重 (調整後勝算率 [AOR] 為 1.60;95% 信賴區間 [CI] 為 1.01-2.58)。與多動少坐的女生相比,少動多坐 (OR 為 2.24;95% CI 為 1.23-4.09) 或多動多坐 (OR 為 1.91;95% CI 為 1.01-3.61) 的女生更有可能超重。

結論
久坐行為可能減弱身體活動與超重之間的關係。更好地瞭解久坐行為與身體活動和超重之間的關係,對預防和減少青少年超重至關重要。
